Give Back Day

The Big Shoulders Fund Auxiliary Board hosts quarterly Give Back Days to bring together volunteers on a weekend morning to help beautify and maintain schools in our network.

Our schools are historical pillars in the communities they serve and have been around for many decades—most even more than a century. Unfortunately, our schools do not have the staff support to fully dedicate the time and resources needed to keep them looking their best. 

Give Back Days are key opportunities for Big Shoulders Fund volunteers to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the schools are left a little better than we found it!

Volunteers will be assigned activities including, but not limited to the following: cleaning, landscaping, organizing school supplies and storage spaces, painting, and more! Whether you come by yourself, with loved ones, an alumni group, your company, or other organizations, Big Shoulders Fund welcomes your support in helping our schools thrive. When you volunteer at a Give Back Day, you are ensuring a clean, safe, and warm environment for our students.
